Problem:

Why don't these reports always match?

 

Resolution:

Only Invoices (Sales, Service, Return) show up on the Revenue Register and Money Tree; however, the Income Statement will reflect any other transaction that may have posted to a revenue account.

 

For Example, the following transactions could be included in Revenue accounts: 

  • Credit Memos
  • Vendor Invoices 
  • Statement Charges 
  • Journal Entries
