Customer Location
The Customer Location add/update screen has been changed to resolve issues with synchronizing phone numbers and emails across multiple location records.

Phone Numbers and Emails are now added to the database and then associated to a location record instead of added directly through the location record.

This means you will now see a Phones and Emails section at the bottom of the Customer Location screen where you will check the box next to the phone numbers and emails that should be associated to the current location record.  You can also add, update or delete phone numbers and emails from the location record which will update the original phone number or email.

Site Details, such as Property Access and Route/Quadrant, were moved to a separate tab.
Customer Location
Users will now be warned when updating a customer address if the address exists on one or more open transactions (quote, order, contract or job).

Import Store Stock Site Relationships
Store Stock Site Relationships can now be imported into Evosus using spreadsheets.
First, you will export existing Store Stock Site Relationships using the export utility.  Once you are done editing the spreadsheet, use the import tool to import the spreadsheet into Evosus.  Importing from the spreadsheet will wipe out ALL existing Store Stock Site Relationship data and will replace it with the data in the spreadsheet. The data is not cleared out until you have a successful import meaning exporting the data to Excel will have no impact on the data in Evosus.
Both utilities are located under Administration>Inventory>General Setup.
Rules for Store Stock Site Relationship spreadsheet utilities:
•The Store Stock Site Relationship screen in Evosus must be CLOSED prior to initiating an import.
•Store and Stock Site columns must be populated.
•The Store and Stock Site name must exactly match what is in Evosus.
•Product Line and Distribution Method can be left blank. This will default the entries to “* Default *” in Evosus.  Alternately, you can enter * Default * if this helps you know which entries have already been filled in.
•If a Product Line or Distribution Method is entered, it must exactly match a Product Line or Distribution Method currently in Evosus.
Search Kits
The Search Kits screen has converted to a left vertical menu with Static Kits, Dynamic Kits, Kit Questions and Open Orders.
Search Kits
The Search Kits screens now allow you to locate specific kits to update based on kit code, description, status, sub-department, created employee and selling text.  Kits cannot be searched by items. Instead, go to the Item’s profile and to the Kits menu. This will display all kits associated to the item in question.
Search Kits
The Dynamic and Static Kit update form will now include an Open Orders/Jobs tab that displays all open quotes, orders or jobs that include the current kit.
Dynamic Kits
Dynamic Kit questions and answers are now created independent of a kit. This allows you to create generic question/answer combinations to be used across multiple kits.
Go to Administration>Inventory>Search Kits>Questions to create your kit Questions and answers.
Once the questions are created, you can create a dynamic kit and associate the existing questions to the kits.  You also have the option to only copy in the question without the answer.  This will create a NEW question/answer combination.
To allow existing dynamic kits to fit this new question format, Evosus is converting existing questions during the upgrade.  Evosus will look at existing questions in dynamic kits and look for matching question/answer combinations in other kits.  An exact match includes question spelling and punctuation, answer spelling and punctuation, item pricing and answer options, such as Multiple Select, Change Quantity and Required.
For instance, there are four Pool Closing Kits which all contain the same question “Install Safety Cover.” The answer options across all questions in each kit are the same.  In this case, Evosus would create a SINGLE question in the new version of Evosus and would assign that question to each of the four Pool Closing Kits.
In another example, the same four Pool Closing Kits all contain the same question “Add Chemicals;” however, the answer options for each question in each kit is different.  Why?  The price of the items are different in each question.  In this case,  Evosus will create a unique question for each kit.
All unique question/answer combinations will be turned into unique questions in the Questions menu.  The question will be post-fixed with the kit category and kit code.   In the non-matching scenario above, you would see “Add Chemicals | Pool Closing\Close1,” “Add Chemicals | Pool Closing\Close2,” “Add Chemicals | Pool Closing\Close3” and “Add Chemicals | Pool Closing\Close4.”
Dynamic Kits
Dynamic Kit wizard now allows questions with no answers.  This could be useful for scripting workflow or process.
Dynamic Kits
Dynamic Kits search menu now includes a Test View button which allows you to preview the Dynamic Kit wizard for the highlighted kit.  You will be able to preview the flow, format and pricing of a kit before making it active.
