|Hold Transactions||Voided items are no longer saved when POS transactions are placed on hold.|

Evosus Card Services by PPI
|Encryption||Evosus now supports rotating encryption for storing credit card data as per PCI-PADSS compliance requirements. It is the users responsibility to regular rotate the encryption key by going to Administration > Evosus Card Services by PPI > Secure Card Data/Encryption Key Maintenance. Users will receive a reminder every 90 days to purge card holder data. You can select which users to receive this message via Administration > System > Miscellaneous > Evosus Notifications.|
|Cardholder Data||Evosus now allows users to purge cardholder data from transactions. It is recommended that users purge data on a regular basis by going to Administration>Evosus Card Services by PPI > Secure Card Data/Encryption Key Maintenance window. Users will receive a reminder every 90 days to purge card holder data. You can select which users to receive this message via Administration>System>Miscellaneous>Evosus Notifications.|
NOTE: This is purging card data stored at the transaction level NOT active cards on file. For instance, you can view the last four digits of a card from the payment record on the customer’s profile. Purging card holder data would remove the last four digits from the screen and would remove the encrypted card number from the database.
|Card Processing||Legacy Evosus Card Services has been removed from v6.0. Evosus Card Services by PPI must be used to process credit cards in Evosus.|
Companies processing credit cards with old ECS must switch to PPI or discontinue use of Evosus Card Services prior to accepting the 6.0 release.
